Daliana is the proud owner of Daliana Dance, and prides herself in providing dance instruction to the community in a skilled, diverse and passionate setting she considers HOME.

Her classical dance training began in 1976 at June Claire School of Dance in Long Island, NY and began belly dancing in 1984. She was honored to be a member of both the Long Island Ballet Theater under the instruction of Robert Sean Christopher of ABT (American Ballet Theatre for 4 years while also performing with a professional international dance troupe in New York for 8 years. She also competed nationally in baton twirling for over 6 years with the USTA.

Daliana has judged dance competitions and scholarship events within the Dance Masters of America network.

Her quest for personal growth continues thru Teacher Training at the Dance Teacher’s Summit and Classes at Broadway Dance Center in New York along with international dance and belly dance workshops and classes with instructors from all over the world.  She is also certified in Acrobatic Arts as well as Progressing Ballet Technique.

She prides herself in bringing superior dance instructors to the Triad area to enhance further the skill set of her amazing and valued students of all ages!

She is also a professional model with Directions USA since 1995. Some of her work includes commercial print, web and film ads for companies such as Wrangler, Hanes, Spanks, belk.com, Playtex, Lowes Home Improvement just to name a few. On a side note Daliana is married, a mother of three and a grandmother!

Autumn Eudy

Autumn Eudy has been a dancer for 15 years, training and competing in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre. From Asheville, North Carolina, Autumn danced with Asheville Dance Theatre before relocating to Greensboro, NC. She has always been a passionate artist; Autumn attended North Carolina Governor’s School, performed with Tampa Ballet Theatre, and has won multiple national awards for both ensemble and solo dances. Autumn has also choreographed and performed in musicals such as Guys and Dolls, Sister ActHello, Dolly!, and 9 to 5. She is currently a part-time student residing in Greensboro, working towards a BFA in Musical Theatre. Autumn is excited to be joining the Daliana Dance family!!

Devonte holds a Dance degree from UNCG, he is an entrepreneur, dancer, choreographer, and regional actor. He enjoys Modern, Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance. Some of his more recent accolades include the Virginia Repertory Theatre where he played the Tin Man, and claimed Best Supporting Actor for the Richmond Theatre Critic Circle.  He has a vibrant personality and loves to share his passion for Dance and the Arts! He is also a Dance Instructor for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System

She has been teaching gymnastics, dance, cheer and acrobatics for 16 years. Since the age of 2, she knew she was destined to flip around for life!! Acrobatics is her number one passion! She discovered the art of acrobatic dance in 2010, and has loved it since!  She has been a part of the Acrobatic competition network bringing teams to regional and national championships.  She is also a Certified Medical Assistant for two Nurse Practitioners at a Family Practice in Randleman, North Carolina. Medicine is her second passion and it is definitely a handy skill when it comes to training her student she also hods a degree in Psychology that assists her catering to every student as an individual, and decipher how each child learns the best. She strive to have every child learn new acrobatic skills as well as life skills that they will remember for the rest of their life!

Mr Dennis started his training with Mary Joyce Lind in Des Moines Iowa, continued with Walter Camryn and Bently Stone at the Stone-Camryn School Of Ballet in Chicago Illinois.
He then danced professionally with the Dallas Ballet under the direction of George Skinine and Marjorie Tallchief with Gustavo Molijoli and Jo Rowan as ballet master and mistress
Mr Dennis has danced with, taught for and directed the School of the Greensboro Ballet and enjoyed dancing coaching and working with a wide variety of choreographers from Balanchine to Mayfield

Kaitlyn Downs is from Burlington, North Carolina and began dancing at the age of three at the Centre of Performing Arts. Growing up she won numerous regional and national competitions, attended NC Governor’s School, and helped start Southern Alamance’s high school dance team. She is a recent graduate from Point Park University where she earned her BFA in Dance and a minor in education. While at Point Park she had many opportunities to work with notable choreographers such as Yin Yue, Jennifer Archibald, Brice Mousset, Kiesha Lalama, and more. In addition to concert performances, Kaitlyn has had the pleasure of assisting at Dance Masters of Pennsylvania and dancing for industrial events around Pittsburgh. Kaitlyn is excited to be joining the Daliana dance family for their 2020-2021 season!

Lindsay joins us after having over a decade of dance teaching experience with competition and recreational level dance. Passionate and dedicated dance instructor with experience in several styles of dance. Strong beliefs that every one of all abilities can dance. Strengths in teaching and engaging younger students, with props and appealing references. Builds passion and love for dance in students of all ages. Believes that passion and strong technique make the best dancers.  Areas of focus include BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, LYRICAL, CREATIVE MOVEMENT, MOMMY-AND-ME TUMBLE, Unique Needs DANCE CLASS, BALLET COMPANY Co-DIRECTOR.  She proudly hods a BA from Elon University in Special Education and Early Elementary Education

Melvin Sutton born and raised in Raleigh North Carolina . He began his formal training in middle school under the direction of Susan Hill and furthered his train in high school under the direction of Lisa Wilder. While in high school Melvin’s love for choreography and dance began to cultivate and grow leading him to when awards such as Dancer of the year , Choreography of the year , most improved and more . Melvin graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelor’s in Arts and Science with a focus in Rehabilitations Studies & Human Services . Melvin has had the pleasure of attending several conferences and summer intensives to increase his training in dance on scholarships. He has had the opportunity to work with notable choreographers and dance pioneers such as Debbie Allen , Milton Myers, Darrell Moultrie, Karen McDonald , Chuck Davis and many more . In 2015 Melvin had the esteem pleasure of performing at the special olympics world games  . Performing with artist such as Steve Wonder , Becky G and J Balvin .  Melvin continues to work as a collaborating artists with Theatre of Movement under the direction of Duane Cyrus in Greensboro North Carolina. While dancing with Theatre of Movement he has had the pleasure of performing in Antigua , TED X performance, North Carolina Dance Festival and more . Melvin continues to foster and care for his talents in dance and choreography while attending the University of The Arts in dance MFA program . Melvin loves to encourage and enlighten all those who he comes in contact with! He enjoys being able to push his students into their best selves and ensures that with the right amount of focus anything is possible!

Originally from Ohio, Sarah had the honor of being an All-American Twirler in the Purdue Marching Band for 2 years where she performed in the 2018 Ireland St. Patricks Day parade and bowl games. She participated in competitive twirling for 6 years as an (NBTA) National Baton Twirling Association twirler. She was New Albany High School Majorette Captain for 2 years, and Captain of the Twirling Buckeyes for three years. She holds a degree degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. She currently works for P&G in the Oral Care Department.

Hallie is Owner and Head Coach of Cheer Elite AllStars Greensboro. She is a member of USASF and NCA. She is currently a Kinesiology major at UNCG, a UNCG Spartan cheerleader. Her cheer experience includes all facets from Pop Warner and Middle School as well as High School Varsity Cheer and school competition winning the State Championships. She also competed Level 3-5 with All Star Cheer. Hallie was also a Miss NC Teen USA Pageant Competitor, and a National American Miss Pageant Competitor and Awards Recipient. She has also studied International Dance with Daliana since 1999. Hallie is First Aid, CPR, AED Certifird thru the Red Cross.

Sherona is a graduate student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She is working on her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, concentrating on Cancer Biology. Sherona had no prior dance experience before taking her first class with Daliana in 2011. She has been dancing ever since and is also a member of Troupe Bellysima.

Lisa has practiced accounting full time for over 15 years. She began instruction of bellydance with Daliana in 2005, she is also a member and soloist of Troupe Bellysima and began teaching belly dance fitness classes 2009. She enjoyed Baton twirling in her youth along with high school cheerleading. She is a two time Breast Cancer SURVIVOR, she prayed and danced her way back to health!

Mallory spent 17 years as a competitive dancer, trained in many styles such as tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, gymnastics/acro, contemporary, lyrical and more. She proudly attended Florida School of the Arts as a dance entertainment major and had been part of different companies since.
She began teaching classes at her home studio in Florida as an assistant at age or 13, and had her own class full time by age 14. She has continued dance instruction throughout the years in addition to working her personal career full time.   She relocated NC in April of 2018 and has found her dance home at Daliana Dance to share her passion for danc.

Thunder comes to us as true passionate hip hop artist. While primary self taught, he indulges in as many classes as are available to him as additional inspiration.  Thunder is creative and innovative with footwork and body patterning.  He is a dynamite choreographer teaching weekly combos to challenge the strongest of dancers while balancing simplicity for slower learners.

Hayley McCraw obtained a BA in Dance Studies with the education capstone, and a Psychology minor from Meredith College in 2015. She has the North Carolina K-12 Dance and Exceptional Children: Adapted Curriculum teaching licenses and is a NC Teaching Fellow. While at Meredith, Hayley was a co-manager, performer, and choreographer in the modern dance company Meredith Dance Theatre. She was also the historian of the Meredith College chapter of Nu Delta Alpha National Dance Honor Society and the vice president of the Multi-Cultural Dance Club. During College, Hayley studied at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Hayley participated in Ashley Thorndike-Youssef’s Now and Next Dance Mentoring Project as a student and a mentor. She graduated from Weaver Academy Performing and Visual Arts High School and was a dance curriculum completer. Hayley received her early dance training from Greensboro City Arts Dance, ANDA 5678 Dance Studio, and Walsh-Kelly School of Irish Dance. She also has notable training from Wilmington Ballet, NC Dance Project, and Duane Cyrus’s Access to Art Academy. Hayley currently teaches dance at Parkview Expressive Arts Elementary School and has recently begun taking classes at Daliana Dance and performing with Troupe Bellysima.

Wendy is a Certified AFPA Yoga/Pilates Instructor, Certified Absolute Core Barre Pilates Instructor, and CPR and First Aid certified. She has 5 years experience dancing tap, jazz, ballet and has studied bellydance with Daliana since 2005 and has been a Troupe Bellysima member and soloist since 2006. She has been practicing yoga since 2002 and weight training since 2004. Through these disciplines, she has lost and maintained a 40 pound weigh loss for over 7 years! Wendy has also been a bellydance fitness instructor since 2009. When she’s not at the studio, she has her own photography business, www.wendyweeksphoto.com.

Emmanuel began his dance training at the age of 13, taking summer classes available at his home church. As the urge to learn about dance arose within him, he joined Katura Productions Inc. in 2009. While there, Emmanuel received much of his training in hip hop taught by Kimberly Jones. In 2012, Emmanuel auditioned for the School of Dance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After being accepted, Emmanuel had the opportunity to perform with and learn from many great teachers such as: Duane Cyrus, BJ Sullivan, Janet Lilly, and others. Emmanuel has also had the opportunity to perform at the John F Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, The Monticello, Vybez Showcase Atlanta, and at many other respectable places. Emmanuel has also worked with television networks, such as TLC, and has also had the opportunity to work with dance film makers from all around the world through the Experimental Films Virginia founded by Renata Sheppard. Today Emmanuel focuses primarily on inspiring everyone that he comes in contact with and whether it is performing, filming, or teaching.

Dom-Sebastian is a technically informed artist trained in various degrees of street dances, social grooves, and contemporary techniques. He holds a Dance BFA and Drama Minor from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). As an adolescent, he learned rhythm & groove from his mother while dancing with her in their kitchen.  He picked up beatboxing from his older cousin, and was very active in sports before making the transition to StreetDancer. Prior to studio training, Dom mimicked dancers from popular music videos and television programs like Soul Train, BET, and MTV.

Although routed in the south, he has been fortunate with the ability to share his talents, skills, and knowledge in amazing cities across the globe. “Teaching as a student and learning as a professional” is the code he lives by.

April has 20 years of dance experience. She began with traditional dance genres of  tap, jazz and ballet. A a child and was a member of her dance school’s performance team. It wasn’t until college, however, that April was introduced to Indian dance. She took a course on Bollywood movies and fell in love with the Art. Since then, April has traveled to India to learn Bollywood, folk and classical Indian dance. For the past 5 years, she has been part of a professional dance group based in Morrisville, NC. They have performed all over NC, including a mega dance show called “Classic Bollywood.” April now choreographs her own Bollywood dances and performs at festivals here in Greensboro.

Originally from NY, Robyn danced competitively in Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz and Modern for 8 years, and studied with some of the finest choreographers from top NY City studios and Broadway. She is also a certified yoga instructor and will be sharing her 10 years of yoga experience with us. She combines elements of dance and yoga to create a class that is not only fun, but builds strength, flexibility and balance. She is CPR certified, and when she is not dancing or doing downward dog, she is a wife, a mom and practices Real Estate with Allen Tate.

Originally from Long Island NY, Vasha was an Elite Level Gymnast. She studied at Liberty University, UNCG, GTCC with a focus on Early Childhood Education, and Behavioral Science. She is a certified USAGymnastics Coach. She coached competitive gymnastics for over 20 years (17 at Tumblebees), bringing athletes to State, Regional, and National Levels. She is also USASF Certified in Level 1-5 Tumbling and coaches Competitive Cheerleading at Cheer Elite All Stars. Vasha is the mother of two athletes, daughter Paige and and sonTyler.

Meredith has studied under Daliana since 2010 with her primary focus on Ballet, however she maintained classes in all genres offered. She is currently attending UNCG as a nursing major and participates in teacher workshops in NY to enhance her personal and teaching skills in the dance classroom. She spends an average of 10 hours weekly continuing her study in dance. She is presented with quarterly reviews throughout the dance season and attends continuing education at Broadway Dance Center. She has attended classes with international hip hop artist Luam, Belly Dance Artists Amar Gamal and Kaeshi Chai, Musician and Folkloric Dance Instructor Karim Nagi and famed Contemporary dance instructor Tracie Stanfield. Meredith has a passion for dance and truly enjoys being a student, a menthe, and a mentor!

Chelsea has been dancing since the age of 2. She has done ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap and hip hop as a child/teen. Chelsea’s mom loves to tell the story of Chelsea’s first year of dance at 2 years old. Chelsea stood in class, refusing to dance the entire year, but the night of the show knew the entire dance and lit up on stage! Life took a hold and dance was put aside for years until she took a belly dance class in 2012. Her love for dance was sparked again and she immediately fell in love with this style of dance. Chelsea has been dancing with Troupe Bellyisma since 2012. Belly dancing is something new, but is now a love and passion of hers! Chelsea also continues her traditional dance classes at Daliana Dance.

Sasha just completed her second world tour with Madonna, the Madonna Rebel Heart Tour, and she is already preparing for her next job. As the second place finalist of the 8th season of So You Think You Can Dance and accomplished dancer and choreography in the industry, she has been asked back this year as a mentor for the upcoming season, SYTYCD Next Generation.

Mallory’s training began in her hometown of Bakersfield, California at the age of five and since then she has trained at the top Academy’s and distinguished schools of dance around the world. Including, but not limited to, the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.), the Civic Dance Center, the Ailey School Summer Intensive and Certificate Program, Boston Summer Intensive and the Houston Ballet Summer Intensive to name a few.

Her first major dance breakthrough was with Adam Lambert on his Glamnation Tour 2010. From there she went onto SYTYCD and was the runner up on the critically acclaimed shows’ 8th season. Mallory has worked with a number of artists and companies in music videos, commercials, stage and live performances including Rihanna, Wayne Brady, Uh Huh Her and Budweiser. Mallory has choreographed a number of pieces and productions in a variety of styles. She teaches and judges on a number of dance conventions and competitions around the United States as her work schedule will allow.

Casie, also known as ‘Tynee,’ specializes in hip-hop and break dancing. She has worked in the commercial entertainment industry for years and now lives in Los Angeles. She has worked side by side with various artists and organizations such as Chris Brown, Lil John, Psy, French Montana, Beats, the NBA, Adidas and was a Las Vegas Finalist on So You Think You Can Dance? Currently she is touring around the country teaching kids of all ages at studios, conventions and competitions.

Meghan is a native of Asheville, North Carolina where she began dancing at the age of 3, training throughout grade school at Asheville Center of Performing Arts. She attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, graduating with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography alongside a minor in Media Studies. There she studied under BJ Sullivan, Duane Cyrus, Janet Lilly, Robin Gee and Jan Van Dyke training in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, improvisation, West African Dance, contact improvisation, and intensive course work in anatomy and choreography. Prior to graduating Meghan choreographed, costumed, lit and edited music for her BFA thesis “As the Stars Are Alight”. Meghan was also a member of the UNCG Dance Team the “Spartan G’s” for the 2012-2013 season, performing at many student body sporting events. Upon graduating Meghan relocated back to Asheville joining the WNC Dance Academy faculty, working with pre-professional and recreational students and continuing to explore her love for choreography through freelance. She served as a guest choreographer at many public high schools in the area, choreographing her first full length musical “Footloose” at Enka High School and working as a guest artist for the UNC-Asheville Dance Department creating her work “but the soft words, they are spoke so gentle”. She is currently dancing as a member of the Ametista Collective Dance Company, collaborating with other dancers in the area to share the art form at a local level.

Lianna was born and raised in the Dance Capital of the World, New York City. With a true passion for dance, Lianne was honored to receive and train on a full scholarship at Ballet Hispanico under the Director and Founder, Tina Ramirez. She also expanded her studies at Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and Broadway Dance Center. Lianne is a well-rounded educator today thanks to her extensive studies that included: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip-Hop, Modern, Limon, Horton, Martha Graham, Flamenco, Musical Theater, Salsa, Latin Jazz, & Afro-Caribbean. Lianne’s natural talent was immediately recognized and she was invited to audition for “So You Think You Can Dance” Guest Choreographer, Maria Torres. Lianne was then selected to be a part of a performance with the Grammy Award winning Hip-Hop Group, OutKast. Additional Credits include: Britney Spears, Chris Brown, LL Cool J, and ABC’s Hit Television Show “The View”.For the past 10 years, Lianne has enjoyed teaching a wide variety of dance genres for all ages and levels. Remaining a student at heart, she continues to educate herself of the latest techniques and attending teacher workshops. Recently Lianne has Directed and Choreographed a large production with more than 70 dancers to perform for Showtime’s Dance Challenge National Award Gala. As a successful result, Lianne’s choreography was invited to be showcased at Disney Springs, which allowed her dancers to be Honorary Disney Cast Members. Currently, Lianne has been delighted to be Choreographing and Adjudicating for Dance Competitions and Workshops internationally. She also Certified with Acrobatic Arts. It is Lianne’s mission in life to inspire and aid the next generation to continue to grow and reach their full potential!

Angie Greene has been teaching and choreographing for 20 years. She began her teaching career as a studio teacher and later received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Art degrees in Dance Education from UNCG in order to teach dance in the public school system. Angie loves teaching jazz, contemporary, and West African. She has studied West African dance from world renowned teachers both here in the states and in Mali, West Africa. Angie was a performing member of Kambankofo, West African Dance Company under the direction of Mohammed DaCosta. Angie continues to teach in the private studio and public school settings

LaNeese is originally from New York. She began dance classes at the age of 4 with The Ailey School. She later attended Edge School of the Arts (ESOTA) receiving instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Hip-Hop, African, Pointe, and Musical Theatre. In 2005, she was accepted into Frank Sinatra School of Arts founded by Tony Bennett. Her high school years were spent studying ballet, jazz, modern, tap, ballet, kinesiology, dance history and dance notation. Her studies continued with American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, New York City Ballet, and Robert Battle. She has performed at City Center, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and the Metropolitan Opera. She graduated Frank Sinatra in June 2009 with a high school diploma and an arts diploma. She continues her education at North Carolina A&T State University with a double major Liberal Studies (Dance) and Journalism & Mass Communications (Media Management). In 2009, LaNeese became a member of the E. Gwynn Dancers of NC A&T. LaNeese has worked with artists such as Lanelle Tyler, Caree Rajae, Donalija James, Evin Gibson, and Mundo. Amar Gamal was born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. She began her belly dance training at the Mideastern Dance Exchange at the age of 13, under the direction of dance legend Tamalyn Dallal. Amar is the double crown winner of Ms. America and Ms. World of the Bellydance (San Francisco, CA); winner of Bellydance Break Beats Competition (Los Angeles, CA); and first runner up Ms. Egypt competition (Cairo, Egypt). Karim performs primarily Arabic, Turkish and Andalusian hand percussion, including the Egyptian Tabla (goblet drum), Riqq (tambourine), Duff (frame drum), and Segat (brass castanets). Karim has authored instructional CDs and DVDs including the first DVD resource on Riqq technique. Karim was a faculty member of the New England Conservatory of Music for 5 years. Karim leads the SHARQ Arabic Music Ensemble performing the classical Arabic instrumental and vocal repertoire. Karim travels the country presenting his education program called Arabic Music, Dance and Culture to school grades 2 up through the university level. Karim developed and currently performs Turbo Tabla : a music and dance show that combines traditional Arabic and Turkish music with modern Electronica and Techno. Avery discovered her true love for Dance when joining Daliana in 2010. Although she came with some dance experience, Avery has excelled in technique, stage presence, and theatrics. She is loved for her connection of body movement to sound that is a challenge for so many her age to parallel. She participates in all genres of dance at Daliana Dance and spends approximately 20hrs per week in the studio. She is presented with quarterly reviews throughout the dance season and attends continuing education workshops selected by Daliana in her off season at Broadway Dance Center. She has attended classes with international hip hop artist Luam, Belly Dance Artists Amar Gamal and Kaeshi Chai, Musician and Folkloric Dance Instructor Karim Nagi and famed Contemporary dance instructor Tracie Stanfield. Avery has special dance qualities to share as a student, class assistant and performer.

Becky Scoggins spent over 15 years in marketing, advertising and public relations for large and small companies alike. Her journey with weight loss eventually led her to practice yoga which allowed her to draw on her previous competitive dance experience as a tween at Diane Guzetti’s School of Dance. Five years after beginning her yoga practice, her passion for health and wellness enabled her to obtain her RYT-200 certification, which she utilizes to teach students of all shapes, sizes and abilities. Specializing in an innovative style of yoga called BUTI Yoga, which combines tribal and hip hop dance, primal movement, power yoga and plyometrics into a calorie-torching, insanely fun practice, she now empowers others to take their movement practice to new heights. Becky shares her love of yoga and dance by equipping her students to tackle any challenge in life with a no-frills, down-to-earth approach to each class or practice. She is currently the only BUTI Yoga Certified Instructor, and in 2017 will be the only BUTI Master Trainer in the state. She lives in Greensboro with her spoiled trio of boys; her husband, son, and chihuahua.

He was a dance studio owner for 32 years, has been certified with Dance Masters of America for 25 years where he was also a board member and judged local, regional and national dance competitions. He has produced many State and National Dance winners. He is currently a dance, music, drama and journalism instructor in public schools and has been doing so for almost 20 years. He has crested, directed and designed fine arts programs within the public school system. He has held the title of Director, Actor, Dancer, and Choreographer for many shows.

Sunni holds a bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Dance and Theater from UNC Pembroke where she was Cheerleader from 2007-2010 receiving Coaches award in 2011. She was also a Dance Team member and Captain 2009-2011 holding the title of All American Dancer in 2010 and is the Founder of “Expressions” a dance club at Pembroke. She is a former member of the Lady Cougarz Cheer and Dance Team to the Carolina Cougarz a semi professional basketball team. She has extensive training in Ballet, Jazz, and Modern Dance and is currently a member of Troupe Bellysima

Alaina has been dancing with Daliana since 2007 and is currently a student as well as a Feature Soloist for Troupe Bellysima. She is gifted with natural stage presence and grace. She has wonderful vocal talent and continues her dance education with Daliana as well as participating in Master Classes and workshops. Her passion for Bollywood has blossomed allowing it to be an intergral part of Daliana Dance. WHen she was younger she participated in Cheerleading at five, served as co-captain in middle school and went on to varsity as well as competition team in high school. She began a successful run in the Pageant World at age 4 and some of her titles include Little Miss Randleman, Jr Miss Randleman, Miss Randleman, Miss Fall Festival, Miss Teen North Carolina, American Rennaissance, and The Treasures Queen.

Wesley L. Williams Jr. is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Williams is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher of West African Music & Dance and African contemporary dance styles. Wesley has performed with “Jan Van Dyke Dance Company”, “Ballethnic Dance Company”of Atlanta, G.A., and “North Carolina Black Repertory Company”. Wesley Williams is a former dancer of the Chuck Davis ” African American Dance Ensemble”. He is currently the founder and Artistic Director of “SUAH African Dance Theatre” based in Greensboro, NC. Mr. Williams attended North Carolina Central University where he studied Psychology and received a full four year scholarship in two sports, football and track & field. Recently Mr. Williams was featured in the May 2014 issue of” Dance Magazine” as well as “ Teacher Magazine”. Mr. Williams travels all over the country sharing his gift to create dance works with all arts lovers. He has been invited to choreograph new works on several universities, such as, Radford University, Lincoln University, Stephens College, and University of North Carolina School of the Arts to name a few. He has also studied and perform with world renown teachers such as Youssouf Koumbassa, Mamady Sano, M’Bemba Bangoura, and Dr. Chuck Davis. His dream is to eventually set his work on a major company such as Alvin Alley Dance Theatre. Until then, he will nurture his own dance company with passion and love.
